Families by Grace is a counseling service provided by Pastor Gerald Schwanke. Pastor Schwanke uses a family centered, attachment oriented approach to helping families, individuals, children, and couples get unstuck from their current problems. Pastor Schwanke not only holds a Masters Degree in Theology, but also a Masters Degree in Counseling. He is trained in Play Therapy and Attachment Therapy. Pastor Schwanke is using the office area of St. Paul Lutheran Church as a satellite location for Families by Grace. You may contact Pastor Schwanke for an appointment at (320) 282-9838. Brochures will be available in the near future. Counseling at St. Paul's will begin March 1st.
We have a new SPIRIT group starting at St. Paul's, on Fridays from 8:30 to 9:30. It is for ladies that have Friday mornings open or ladies that drop their kids off at school and would like to take an hour to themselves and study God's Word with some friends and a cup of coffee.
First and foremost, ALL ladies are welcome (members and non-members) to attend the study with or without children. We would love to have you come join us. Second, if you do not want to start with the SPIRIT group at this time, but have time to share, we could use you. We are looking for a volunteer to come in on Fridays' from 8:30 to 9:30 or 10:00 to entertain any little ones that might come along with mom to the bible study. The SPIRIT group is going to meet every Friday, so if we get more volunteers, we can split the job. Please prayerfully consider giving up an hour or so of your time so the moms in our congregation and community can grow closer to God by studying His Word.
